RSL SA (State Branch) Elections

Calls for RSL SA (State Branch) Board nominations will soon be announced. An election process may be required depending on the number of nominations received. If this is the case, all service members of the sub-branch who are financial as of 7 April 2023 will be eligible to vote. The calls for nominations and details of the election (if required) will be circulated via email to all financial service members.

To ensure your eligibility to participate in the election process, please ensure you have paid your 2023 membership fees by 6 April 2023 (details below). Please also ensure that your contact details are current.

Membership Fees

A friendly reminder that if you have yet to pay your membership fees for 2023, payment is now overdue.

Membership fee payments can be made either via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or in person at the club.

ANZAC Day

The Brighton RSL's ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be held at the Arch of Remembrance, The Esplanade, Brighton at 6:00am on 25 April 2023. All are welcome to attend as we come together to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifice of generations of Australians and New Zealanders, and all those who suffer the consequences of war.

Veterans and currently serving ADF members who wish to participate in the Dawn Service March are asked to assemble at the intersection of Jetty Road and Gurrs Road from 5:30am. The March will commence at 5:50am and proceed down Jetty Road to the Arch of Remberance.

Following the Dawn Service, all members and the general public are invited back to the Brighton RSL located at the Keelara Centre, 11-13 Keelara Street, Brighton (behind the City of Holdfast Bay Civic Centre). A traditional Gunfire Breakfast will be offered for a gold coin donation and full bar facilities will be open.

Please note that road closures will be in place on Jetty Road and The Esplanade from 5:00am to 7:00am. There are no COVID-19 restrictions in place.
