Dawn Service
We are happy to announce that the Brighton RSL ANZAC Day Dawn Service will return to the Arch of Remembrance at the end of Jetty Road, Brighton this ANZAC Day, 25 April 2022. The Dawn Service will commence at 6:00am with the veterans' march commencing on Jetty Road adjacent to Gurrs Road. If you are intending to march, please form up at 5:55am. Seating will be available at the roundabout for those needing to sit.
We ask that anyone not feeling well or those that are close contacts please not attend. Also, please allow spacing to avoid close contact. Covid marshalls will be on duty to remind you. QR check-in and masks will not be required. We respect if you wish to wear a mask.
After the service at the RSL
The RSL will be open for a traditional gunfire breakfast after the Dawn Service. The cost for breakfast is a donation. The RSL will remain open throughout the day. Lunch will be available for purchase. As we are restricted for numbers, we are only inviting Brighton RSL and Brighton Bowling Club members and their immediate family and friends. Any other veterans are also welcome. We look forward to seeing you on the day. Lest we forget.
We have launched a new website for the sub-branch at https://www.brightonrsl.com/. This is a work in progress and more content will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
